Mr. Jeffrey Haggard
My name is Jeff Haggard and it is my eleventh year working for Faithway Christian Academy and my second year as principal. My passion as an educator has been shaped from my experiences as a teacher in both the elementary and high school. I have also previously served as the Dean of Students. My time at FCA has truly been a pleasure and continues to be a great working experience.
I met my wonderful wife at the Faithway Christian Christmas Musical. Melody and I have been married for six amazing years. We enjoy exploring Michigan, biking, reading, and watching movies. We currently live in Clio and enjoy working on home improvements. My wife and I attend Richfield Church of the Nazarene.
Although challenging, I am committed to providing the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that will best meet the needs of each student. It is an honor to serve God in such a rewarding capacity and I look forward to a productive future. Continually pray for our school throughout the year that we will have strength in and through faith, hope and love, and that everything we do, it is to God’s glory.
Mrs. Dawn Boillat
I have worked at FCA, in different capacities, for the last 15 years. My husband, Jeremy, and I live in Montrose, and have a daughter, Moriah (16); and a son, Jeremy Jr. (12). They are both Faithway students and have attended since they were in daycare. We are members of Faith Christian Family Church in Lapeer. When we are not working or busy with all of our kids sports activities (volleyball, football, basketball and cheer) we like to try and get Up North and relax on the water and around the campfire.
FCA has been such a big part of our lives since the kids were little; that the staff, and families, alike, have become like family to us. They are not just there to teach our children, but to love them and point them to Jesus. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this staff.
Mrs. Jodi Callcut
My name is Jodi Callcut. I am excited to join Faithway Christian School this year! My husband Doug and I celebrated 20 years of marriage this past April. We have no children, but we have a black lab. We have been involved in our area church for many years teaching teens. I have also been involved in the music ministry and teaching Junior Church. I have been on missions trips to Mexico. Outside of the workplace, we enjoy many activities: kayaking, camping, snowmobiling, sightseeing, visiting lighthouses and waterfalls. Often, you’ll hear that I’m reading another exciting Christian novel as I walk on the treadmill.
I have a B.A. in Elementary Education/ English from Cornerstone University (1995) with a Learning Disabilities Endorsement from Saginaw Valley State University (1999). Since a child, my goal was to be an elementary teacher! Attending a Christian school since third grade, I had the opportunity to work with elementary students during my junior and senior years. Upon graduation from Cornerstone University, I taught one year in an elementary classroom at North Branch Wesleyan Academy (alma mater) and five years in the public schools as a Junior High Resource Room teacher. After a fifteen-year absence, I decided to get my teaching certificate reinstated. I have been much happier returning to my calling- teaching elementary students! Over the summer, I began teaching in Imlay City Community School’s Summer Migrant Education Program. (4th/5th).
Mrs. Devon Wheatley
My name is Devon Wheatley. I have lived in Michigan my entire life! My husband, Ben and I were married in 2013 and have two amazing children, Asher (5) and Adeline (2). I love when I get to spend time with my family. We love going to the zoo, mostly because it is my son's favorite place. I enjoy going to baseball games in the summer time or just relaxing at home. I graduated from University of Michigan in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I have been teaching at Faithway Christian Academy for 2 years. It has been such a great experience being a part of the FCA family and seeing how God can move in the lives of the students that attend. I am blessed with the privilege to help my students not only grow academically, but also helping them grow closer to God.

Mr. Scott Yurk
7th - 12th Grade Mathematics
Hello! My name is Scott Yurk. I am the math teacher here at Faithway Christian Academy for the 2018/2019 school year. I unofficially was introduced to education during my senior year of high school when I interned as a Teacher’s Aide in a classroom with disadvantaged middle school students. My professional career in education began during the 2010/2011 school year as a substitute teacher. As time passed, tutoring took over as my next step in my professional life. I taught middle/high school science from 2013 to 2015 here at Faith High School. God led me to Waterbrook Christian Academy (WCA) for the next several years teaching middle/high school math and science. Now, I am back here teaching middle/high school math. It is good to be back.
I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and attended both Carman-Ainsworth and Flint Community Schools. I come from a Christian family. We went to church every Sunday. I would even bring my friends to church with me whenever I could and try to spread the message of God to them. The values taught by the Lord have been passed on to me since day one, which I in turn, try to instill in to others. In 2010, I graduated from University of Michigan Flint with a Bachelor Degree in Biology. Upon graduation, I interned with Dr. Joseph Sucic as a cancer research assistant. We ran tests on a cancer cell line to try and determine why cancer cells metastasize. I plan on going back to school so I can further my education and knowledge. I now reside in Davison, Michigan with my wife, stepson, two children, one dog, and one cat. My life is intricately dedicated to the well-being of my family. I spend most of my free time with my family. I like to participate in physical activities (lift weights, take walks, go on bike rides, etc…) whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy learning new things, doing puzzles, playing video games, and listening to podcasts.
Mrs. Sheri West

My name is Mrs. Sheri West and I have been a teacher at FCA for 3 years teaching both English and History. I have been raised in the church all my life and accepted the Lord at a very young age. I have a husband and two children, Emily and Ben - ages 19 and 28. I have taught English and Music at several Christian schools over the last 28 yrs. I love teaching students because I can watch them grow academically and spiritually and I am dedicated to their success! I love teaching at Faithway because of the family environment and Christian love among the students, families and staff.
Mr. Michael Iseman
6th -12th Grade Science
6th Grade Physical Education
Cross Country/Track Coach
Mr. Iseman grew up in Bloomfield Hills, MI and graduated from Lahser High School in 1991. He then went on to graduate from Central Michigan University with a degree in Biology and Outdoor Education in 1997. He became a Christian while attending CMU. In 1999, he fully engaged into full-time ministry and have never looked back since. He has served God, in the outdoor education and outfitting realm, youth ministry, and over the past decade plus, Christian education.
He met his wife, Kelly, while attending Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. He received his master degree in Theology in 2007. Both he and his wife have taught in Christian schools in South Dakota, Florida, Nevada, and Michigan. Mr. Iseman also received his Master of Education from Regent University in 2013. He and his wife currently do not have any children, but do have a Shih Tzu named Emmet Otter.
His favorite hobbies are running, downhill & cross country skiing, hiking & backpacking, snowshoeing, and writing.
What he most loves about teaching is watching students to further develop their love for learning and discovering how God has gifted and called them. His life verse is from Gal. 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ, for it is no longer I who live, but Christ in me. The life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”
