Mr. Jeffrey Haggard
My name is Jeff Haggard and it is my eleventh year working for Faithway Christian Academy and my second year as principal. My passion as an educator has been shaped from my experiences as a teacher in both the elementary and high school. I have also previously served as the Dean of Students. My time at FCA has truly been a pleasure and continues to be a great working experience.
I met my wonderful wife at the Faithway Christian Christmas Musical. Melody and I have been married for six amazing years. We enjoy exploring Michigan, biking, reading, and watching movies. We currently live in Clio and enjoy working on home improvements. My wife and I attend Richfield Church of the Nazarene.
Although challenging, I am committed to providing the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that will best meet the needs of each student. It is an honor to serve God in such a rewarding capacity and I look forward to a productive future. Continually pray for our school throughout the year that we will have strength in and through faith, hope and love, and that everything we do, it is to God’s glory.
Mrs. Dawn Boillat
I have worked at FCA, in different capacities, for the last 15 years. My husband, Jeremy, and I live in Montrose, and have a daughter, Moriah (16); and a son, Jeremy Jr. (12). They are both Faithway students and have attended since they were in daycare. We are members of Faith Christian Family Church in Lapeer. When we are not working or busy with all of our kids sports activities (volleyball, football, basketball and cheer) we like to try and get Up North and relax on the water and around the campfire.
FCA has been such a big part of our lives since the kids were little; that the staff, and families alike, have become like family to us. They are not just there to teach our children, but to love them and point them to Jesus. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this staff.
The one verse I pray for our students is 1Timothy 4:12 "Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."
Mrs. Jodi Callcut
My name is Jodi Callcut. I am excited to begin my second year at Faithway Christian Academy! Outside of the workplace, my husband Doug and I enjoy many activities: kayaking, camping, snowmobiling, sightseeing and visiting lighthouses and waterfalls. Often, you'll hear that I'm reading another exciting Christian novel as I walk on the treadmill. We attend First Baptist Church in Goodrich. In our previous churches, we have been involved in teen ministry, Junior Church and music ministry. We have had the privilege of ministering on a missions trip to Mexico.
I have a B.A. in Elementary Education/English from Cornerstone University (1995) with a Learning Disabilities Endorsement from Saginaw Valley State University (1999). Since a child, my goal was to be an elementary teacher! Attending a Christian School since third grade, I had the opportunity to work with elementary students during my junior and senior years. Upon graduation of Cornerstone University, I taught one year in elementary classroom at North Branch Wesleyan Academy (alma mater) and five years in the public schools as a Junior High Resource Room teacher. After a fifteen year absence, I decided to get my teaching certificate reinstated. I have been much happier returning to my calling-teaching elementary students!

6th-12th Grade Science
Hello! My name is Scott Yurk. I am the math and science teacher here at Faithway Christian Academy for the 2020/2021 school year. I was unofficially introduced to education during my senior year of high school when I interned as a Teacher's Aide in a classroom with disadvantaged middle school students. My professional career in education began during the 2010/2011 school year as a substitute teacher. As time passed, tutoring took over as my next step in my professional life. I taught middle/high school science from 2013 to 2015 here a Faith High School. God led me to Waterbrook Christian Academy (WCA) for the next several years teaching middle/high school math and science. Now, I am back here teaching middle/high school math and science. It is good to be back.
I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and attended both Carman-Ainsworth and Flint Community Schools. I come from a Christian family. We went to church every Sunday. I would even bring my friends to church with me whenever I could and try to spread the message of God to them. the values taught by the Lord have been passed on to me since day one, which I in turn, try to instill in to others. In 2010, I graduated from University of Michigan Flint with a Bachelor Degree in Biology. Upon graduation, I interned with Dr. Joseph Sucic as a cancer research assistant. We ran tests in a cancer cell line to try and determine why cancer cells metastasize. I plan on going back to school so I can further my education and knowledge. I now reside in Davison, Michigan with my wife, stepson, two children, one dog, and one cat. My life is intricately dedicated to the well-being of my family. I spend most of my free time with my family. I like to participate in physical activities (lift weights, take walks, go on bike rides, etc...) whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy learning new things, doing puzzles, playing video games, and listening to podcasts.
